When you create an account in TIPS, you provide us with personal information that includes your name, surname, telephone number, working position (e.g. Seller), workplace, and location. This data is collected in order to indicate you among other users.
We collect information about your location in order to offer you promotions that are available for particular regions. Your location can be defined by Google’s Location service automatically if you give permission, or you can insert it manually.
As you use our service, we collect information about the device model, operating system, application version number, and IP address. This information allows for improving TIPS functionality and gives an opportunity to provide tech support if needed.
The TIPS app provides the possibility to withdraw bonuses earned in the TIPS system via registration in the payment system, Solar Staff (https://www.solar-staff.com/).
In order to register you in Solar Staff, the TIPS app should obtain and transfer to Solar Staff the following data: your name, surname, email address, and phone number.

Participation in the TIPS referral program allows earning additional bonuses by inviting new users to the TIPS system. This service requires uploading personal data to the referral service via the domain https://friend.tips.sg to identify users who participated in the referral program.
To facilitate the invitation process your contacts from the phone book can be additionally collected and processed, so you will receive the possibility to track which of your contacts you have invited and of them have been already registered in TIPS. This service requires additional permission in Referral Program Section.
Our application collects user images for various purposes, such as profile pictures or submissions of information about sales (our app collects and uploads the photo of the product when the user scans its barcode, also the app collects and uploads the photo of the bill that is made by the user during the sale registration procedure). Please be aware that any images submitted to our platform may be stored on our servers for future use. However, we do not share these images with third parties; they are only used for internal purposes, such as improving our services and user experience, and also for the verification of submitted sales by our moderators. By submitting an image to our platform, you acknowledge and consent to our collection and storage of your image.
